Selfridges shows wholehearted support of the creative industries through a two-month concept store and gallery in the London store, run by Sarabande Foundation’s House of Bandits. Displaying an array of limited edition and special products, plus a rich programme of talks, artist workshops, VIP events and more, the concept reflects the dazzling creativity of the charitable foundation established by Lee Alexander McQueen. In addition to the concept store, Sarabande has taken over three of the Selfridges London windows, including one window dressed as a series of distinctive studios belonging to a painter, a maker and a fashion designer.

The giant-sized Siofra display in-store continues to delight visitors, creating the perfect photo opportunity and adding a magical touch to Brown Thomas’ St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

The Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) has launched an exciting new Design Ireland pop-up at Arnotts in Dublin, showcasing the best of Irish design and craftsmanship. Open until July 2025, the pop-up features a curated selection of 30 talented Irish designers and makers, offering a diverse range of products from jewellery and ceramics to homeware and textiles. Visitors can discover standout pieces from renowned names celebrating Ireland’s rich cultural heritage through modern design. The pop-up will also host engaging events throughout the summer, including maker demonstrations and talks.

In January, we were pleased to present the work of Danish artist Isabel Berglund. The installation ‘Fluid Island of Pearls’ was created specifically for our iconic atrium and will be on display until May 2025. Isabel Berglund’s work unfolds as sculptural objects, offering an intimate exploration of material, color, and space. Berglund’s preferred media is hand-knitted yarn which she varies and processes with a focus on the material’s aesthetic and tactile qualities.
KaDeWe
With a unique design, regional production and unmistakable taste, the KaDeWe’s new private label is extending the distinctive feeling of the world-famous food hall right into your own home. The diverse range comprises around 30 products, including chocolates and pastries, fruit spreads, honey, curry spice sauce, coffee, mineral water, olive oil, and alcoholic beverages. The award-winning design of the packaging is inspired by the architecture and history of the KaDeWe and thus creates a timeless appearance with a high recognition value. The KaDeWe's own-brand food and beverages are produced in collaboration with small, partly local producers and selected manufacturers that reflect the high standards of the gourmet floor.

The KaDeWe supports luxury second hand by Vite EnVogue
Besides the latest fashion and accessories collections, the KaDeWe’s visitors can also discover selected luxury second hand goods in the Vite EnVogue corner on the 2nd floor. Vite EnVogue, Europe's leading online store for the sale of certified luxury second-hand fashion and accessories has set itself the goal of promoting a general awareness for more sustainability. Former designer favorites can not only be shopped, but also sold via the connected Buddy&Selly buying area. The in-house team of experts checks every designer piece for top quality, timeliness and authenticity.
KaDeWe
Liquid gold from KaDeWe: the Department Store promotes urban beekeeping and adds its own honey to the assortment
Regional, natural, sustainable. The KaDeWe is expanding the range of its own food brand and sells sustainably produced honey from bees located on the terrace of the Department Store. The honey is harvested in collaboration with the organic beekeeping company Mädelfleiss from Berlin and then sold as exclusive KaDeWe honey.

The Redevelopment of Via del Tritone and Via dei Due Macelli in Rome
For Rinascente, it is fundamental to be part of the city fabric, to preserve its beauty and to help make it more and more usable for citizens. That was why in 2019 Rinascente has decided to fund the Municipality of Rome for the redevelopment of Via del Tritone and Via dei Due Macelli, the two important streets close to Rinascente Roma Tritone store.
