Central Group has laid the foundation stone of Porto de Phuket, Central’s first Open Lifestyle Mall, under the concept of “The Finest Living Experience”. The 1-billion-baht-project will service both tourists and high-spending locals with a superior offer of dining, shopping and entertainment.
Lertvit Pumipitak, Senior Executive Vice President, Property Management at Central Pattana PCL, a unit of Central Group, presided over the foundation stone laying ceremony for Porto de Phuket, the first shopping mall of its kind. It combines design, lifestyles and natural space, with green areas making up two thirds of the 40,000 sq m site in Choeng Thale, Talang, Phuket, with a total project value of 1 billion baht. Joining the ceremony were Central executives Wilaiporn Pitimanaaree, Jitrinee Vitchudhakorn and Adithep Kawinthorn.
Porto de Phuket is located in Choeng Thale, the premier upscale residential district of Phuket, which gathers a number of high-end condos and villas in one place. Highlights of the mall catering to all genders and age groups include Central Food Hall, the best food store in Asia and Phuketian Mercado, a food destination bringing together a diversity of leading restaurants, coffee shops and bars from all over the world. Famous restaurants in Phuket include Tu Kab Khao, the province’s number one eatery. There will also be the Phuket International Petcare Center (PIPC), with fully comprehensive services for all kinds of pets, whether for grooming, clinics or pet accessories. Porto de Phuket has already sold 80 percent of available space with construction just beginning, and is expected to be complete by the end of this year.
