Thai Watsadu, a subsidiary of Central Retail continues to persist in the royal wishes together with The Wilderness Society Organization of Thailand along with a donation from customers contribution under the project of “Forest Conservation” to obtain equipment such as prestressed concrete and mesh wires to build weirs in watershed forests.
Throughout 3 years, a total of 814 weirs were built in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai. With 1 Mae Tung Ting bridge across the Mae Chaem river and 1 reservoir that efficiently stores water used to restore watershed forests, to keep the soil moisture, to balance the troops of nature and the environment, and to help preserve and sustain forests in the future.
