Bangkok, May 15, 2022: Central Group Mini Marathon, a charity run event now in its 14th year, is organized by Central Group together with the BMA, Department of Health, and the Royal Thai Army, wrapped up successfully with many runners joining the event to show support to those affected by the conflicts in the South and women cancer patients. The event was held with strict COVID-19 measures on Sunday 15th May in front of centralwOrld.
In this event was honored by Ms.Masawan Pinsuwan - Director of Pathumwan District, Maj.Gen.Supasit Chittuam - Director of Pychological Office, Directorate of Civil Affairs, Gen.Pitsanu Urailert - Advisor of Central Group and Dr.Chartchai Norasethaporn Ph.D.Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainable Development of Central Group jointly open the event.
Gen.Pitsanu Urailert - Advisor of Central Group, said, “The Central Group Mini Marathon Run for Love and Peace was warmly welcomed this year. It’s one of our signature events under Central Tham, initiated in 2007 with an aim to donate part of the ticket sales to support those affected by the conflicts in the South and to support the patients in the Women Cancer project. With the COVID-19 situation this year, we maintained strict protocols with health and hygiene readiness, such as ATK screening prior to the event, and fully vaccination requirement. Many runners joined the event, which consisted of a mini marathon (9.77km), micro marathon (6.28km), and walk (3.76km). The event was warmly attended by Thai and foreign runners who came to show their love and support.”
